I started working with Brett during the 2022 NRL season where friends of mine had insisted that I work with him. After experiencing my first body session with him I was blown away by the results. I have not taken a backwards step since then and have experienced drastic change in my physical and mental performance both in the gym and on the field.

I got to experience working with Brett at finals time of the '21 season after recommendations from multiple players about the work he does. Doing game prep sessions with him, the difference I felt on field was enormous in the way I could recover from big efforts in pressure scenarios, mentally I felt like the game slowed up a lot and I felt like my decision making was a lot better as everything felt slower while I was still playing at high speed!
I loved how much time and effort Brett put in to help get me to my peak performance, the guy is committed like no other, he genuinely cares for you and the accountability he holds on you while doing these sessions in person and online is next level. I’m loving the online format with Brett. Normally I like hands on training I feel like I get more out of it. But since doing the Online Performance package it has really surprised me and I am a massive fan of it! I started consulting with Brett in preparation for my last World Title defence after being referred onto him from my long time friend and Nutritionist Ian Larios. Ian has been with me since my first fight in the UFC 9 years ago and had been talking very highly of Brett’s different approach to Performance Enhancement for a long time. Namely Breath work to improve Repeat efforts, Gas tank and the ability to Recover optimally in-between rounds and sleep better at night. Ontop of this his hacks on the body to give the ability to wear shots and release full Power. I decided to go all in and trust the process.
I have always had issues with anxiety like all fighters in fight week, struggling with the ability to sleep night before weigh ins when my body is feeling the effects from the weight cut and the night before the fight naturally is not a fighters best night of sleep. Brett’s ability to help me understand the reasons why we were doing what we were doing and how it was going to bring rapid positive change made it easy to get onboard with all he had to offer. The results spoke for themselves.
My first World Title defence was against a fighter alot of people labelled as the best in the world and number one fighter out of American Top Team, the odds makers had him as the favourite.
I entered fight week feeling the best I had ever felt in and out of the gym. My recovery was on point and my ability to push the pace in training was like no other. This was the first time in my career I have been able to actually sleep night before weigh ins and night before the fight.
It was a tough fight, I was down after 3 rounds. I was able to keep my composure stick to the game plan of my coach and come out in the fourth round and knock my opponent out cold. A Highlight of my career, My first World Title defence and was also Awarded ESPN MMA KO of the Year.

I started working with Brett at the back end of the 2021 season after a chance meeting on the Gold Coast and haven’t looked back. His commitment is beyond anything you have ever seen from any trainer, he offers different methods and the results speak for themselves.
I didn’t expect the results to be as highly effective as they have been and the process to work so quickly. The bodywork sessions give you complete control of your body and mind putting you in the zone with increased focus and alertness.
The online program is definitely valuable as you don’t get this commitment or knowledge anywhere else. My fitness levels, strength, mental clarity, confidence, diet and daily habits are the best they’ve ever been. His Performance and recovery methods/ programming had me return to pre season training for the club smashing PB’s in the gym and fitness tests.

I started working with Brett in 2020 preparing for the USA National Boxing Championships I had been away from Boxing for 5 years. I quit my job, moved back to my parents place and decided to solely put my focus on dedicating my life to make it in Boxing.
I’d heard great things about Brett’s ways from other fighters in Hawaii. I knew I was on to a good thing straight from our initial consultation as his attention to detail was like I had never heard of or seen before. He took care of every aspect of my preparation away from boxing. Structuring my camp in Strength/Conditioning, Recovery, Specialised Breathwork and Neural work to get the most out of myself and peak at the right time. Even recommending me onto a close friend of his who had Proven World Championship Winning Results in nutrition and weight cuts.
I became the Middleweight USA National Champion, never losing a round, fighting 5 fights in 1 week. After attaining that title our focus moved onto the Prestigious USA Golden Gloves competition. Brett once again guided me through all aspects of my preparation outside of my Boxing work. I went on to become the Middleweight USA Golden Gloves Champion after another week full of fights and weight cuts, i also took out the Prestigious Golden Boy Award for Best overall Boxer of the competition out of all divisions.
Following this I went on to be selected for Team USA to represent the USA at the World Championships. This unfortunately ended with an accidental head clash in the first 30 seconds and was the end to the World Championship chase. I am now onto making my Pro Debut and still consult with Brett on various areas of my preparation outside of Boxing. If it wasn’t for Brett I don’t believe I would have achieved what I have so far. The mans dedication is like no other and I can’t wait to have him join my Journey in the future to become World Champion.
I started working with Brett in August 2021. My Strength and Fitness testing improved drastically from the techniques he introduced me to and I have formed a good daily routine to continue progressing.

I started working with Brett after hearing great feedback of his work with a number of other Pro fighters here in Hawaii. He has taught me numerous techniques, breathwork and recovery drills to add to my training. Since starting I've noticed that I sleep better, am able to move better in training and spar harder. The breath drills he has me doing to simulate training at High Altitide and repeated sprint ability have brought a new level to my endurance and focus.

I started with Brett in November of 2021 before beginning my time at Penrith. I was referred onto him from a number of other players who spoke highly of the work he does specifically in Injury Prevention and getting your body in a Peak State to Perform/Recover Optimally, especially with return to play after injury. I had suffered a number of ACL and Hamstring Injuries earlier in my career and would struggle with trusting my body to be able to push 100%, this in turn affected me being able to bring out my best onfield.
I did a 12 day intensive with Brett before I headed to Penrith involving Multiple Bodywork sessions, Specific Breath work, Strength and Field sessions plus Education on how to perform my own self work to help lock in the work we did. I had the best season of my career, played a role in helping the Penrith Panthers Win Both the NRL and NSW Cup Premierships. Never missed a game through injury and ended up securing the number 7 Jersey for the Redcliffe Dolphins. I couldn’t have asked for a better season, I can’t recommend Brett enough, he goes above and beyond to ensure anybody working with him is treated like his Number One priority. Bring on 2023!!
I started working with Brett on my debut at UFC 243 after gaining a UFC contract through the Dana White Contender Series, He was a part of the Lockhart & Leith Team that took control of my fight week weight cut and rehydration, ensuring i made weight at 170lbs.
Brett had a lot more to offer that weekend then just the weight cut, he introduced me to his post weight-cut nervous system recovery methods. Me and the team were blown away with the positive effects. The guy is a man of his word, he said that he would come out to Hawaii and teach me and my gym the methods that he used. A lot of people talk in this game and not deliver. Brett Delivers. He flew to Hawaii and spent a week with us showing us the ins and outs of what he does.
His methods for performance and recovery are pro active, not reactive. I’m able to maintain a hard training schedule of training up to 3 times a day, remaining injury free ( even having 3 fights on ESPN in 8 weeks), I have a clearer mind set and feel far more grounded. I can wear shots better in sparring and in the fights, the ability to continue marching forward allows me to provide exciting fights and stay safe ensuring career longevity, my gas tank is like never before and my strength and power is the best it’s been.
Implementing Breath work and using the Oxygen Advantage method with Brett has been a game changer for my endurance in the fight and in training and recovery.

I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to work with Brett at the tail end of the 2021 season, I was blown away at the changes he could influence on my body in such a short time. The physical changes in both strength work in the gym and then the repeat effort work on the field were undeniable and like I’d never experienced before.
One of the greatest changes I noticed was in my mental state. Brett’s made my mental side so much stronger and I’m on such a different level now mentally since working with Brett. The bodywork sessions allowed me to let go of what i was holding back and allowed me to realise what my body is capable of doing on and off the field.
The high performance training methods helped me massively get ready for this pre season. I felt the best i’ve felt going into a pre season and this allows me to put my best foot forward in training. The training methods also helped me mentally and i’ve found that personally going into this pre season with a stronger mindset has helped me massively.
Am loving the online training format, Brett’s commitment is like no other. Since working with him, he’s been 100% honest and always want the best for me. There’s No bullshit and tells you how it is. I got to work with Brett for the last half of the 2022 season when he was consulting to Parramatta. His activation sessions and breathing drills helped me go into every game with a clear headspace and knowing what I bring to the team, not over complicating my role but being effective at it. I experienced a great positive effect from my Performances on the field all the way to Improving my Recovery after games and training.
He takes his time and genuinely gets to know you and wants nothing more than for you to be at your best. After a tough 2023 season i began mentoring / private coaching work with Brett to prepare myself to gain selection for Fiji and to gain a new playing contract. His ability to get me in a better headspace, enjoy a structured disciplined approach to my preparation gave me what i needed to reset myself and i played the best i had all year.
Brett is a former student and good friend. He has actively worked with me in past competition using his activation techniques to enhance my performance and recovery.
Recently came to him to help prepare and build the best version of myself to compete at the Jiu Jitsu World Master in Las Vegas in 2021. I also want to improve more my general health. Usually i am not a big fan of workouts outside of Jiu Jitsu but Brett has developed a program unique for me as a grappler, he understands what I need to perform at my best and also to preserve my body for the future.
I start the current plan 1 month ago and I feel my energy levels and recovery so much better, especially once he has helped sort out my diet. He has me performing his self activation methods everyday before training and using numerous breath work techniques which have had great transfer to the mats.
I'm a professional triathlete and in my sport every single second and 1% you can find goes a long way. I was simply blown away with the results I gained from taking on Brett's performance enhancement methods. His knowledge on Optimising my Breathing was an absolute game changer, i gave his methods a go and at the end of the week my 140km ride was an average of 1.5km/h faster than my 135km ride the week before and all I had changed was my breathing habits, same route just a little longer and felt much stronger.
A few weeks later I ran a 5km parkrun in 16:17 but didn't do my night prep the night before, the next week I did and ran 16:02 on the same course, the next week after that I did the night prep and did the High Altitude Prep & Simulation work and ran 15:49 all on the same course and feeling like a beast.
I then went on to dominate Straddie Triathlon having the best race I've ever done there defending my title since 2019 and winning by almost 3 minutes. The legs were sore during the race but took almost no time to recover feeling fit fresh and fast even managing to ride home from North Straddie the next day to Kirra

I’ve been working with Brett the last few fight camps focusing on learning how to get the most out of my training and recovery with a focus on my breathing. The mans commitment is like no other, when my camps are based in Phoenix and our time differences are all screwed up he has been up at 3am to run me through all different types of Repeat effort drills to ensure we are doing the work correctly. I have noticed massive changes in my ability to maintain power into the later rounds and the ability to recover better. MAHALO!!
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Brett. His Neural Activation work to ensure my body is working at peak capacity and his principles on controlling the breath and utilising it for performance and recovery are so foundational, yet so under taught in the field. I have felt Massive changes in my Strength in the Ruck and Carries, my tackles are solid and I feel a lot more stable now. My ability to control my breathing properly ensures I can have more of an impact on the field for the duration of the game. I have more discipline on and off the field. My grades have improved and I have a stronger attitude and confidence towards all aspects of life in general.
In season I really enjoy the Pre Game Prime up sessions Brett does, I always felt more switch on, focused and prepared and in the Zone. Every game got better and the game became easier.
So far I have been Awarded 2021 Best forward at BBC school, BJRU MVP, South Coast MVP. 2022 I made the BJRU and City vs Country team and Won Best Forward of the year.
I started working with Brett after being sidelined with repeat injuries/ problems with stress fractures in my lower back and ankle/ shin splint issues I was sick of sitting on the sidelines not being able to play and wasn’t getting any solid answers or results from physios. The referral from my coach Joey Hayes to start seeing Brett was one of the best investments I have made.
My Body is feeling Fitter and Stronger then ever with the Bodywork and Specific breathing work we have been working on that compliments my strength training. I like the way he approaches situations, through all the highs and lows he will always find a way to get you up and about and have confidence in yourself on and off the field.

He is big on Accountability and Integrity. I have improved massively in School, Sport, Mentally and Physically, everything has improved slowly from the ground up. I have gained 10kg in quality size since we started and have such a better understanding on fuelling my body to Perform my Best on and off the Rugby field. In 2021 I was awarded Best 10 and Best Back for Barbarians Rugby and in 2022 BBC U/15 MVP. I can’t wait to see where 2023 will take me with Brett by my side.
Injury who?
I began working with Brett shortly after fracturing my knee, which occurred during my time training as a professional Dancer. In the past I’ve found it difficult to find trainers that hold and live by the same value set and expectations that I do. Not to mention, finding a trainer who understands the human body and tailors the correct strength training for a dancer. Brett fit this criteria and more! I was blown away by Brett’s knowledge and passion for fitness and for life itself, which is what gravitated myself towards Brett. Not only does Brett focus on your physical wellbeing but he understands the importance of your mental wellbeing. Brett went out of his way to understand who I was as a person and really focused on shaping my overall wellbeing.
I struggled with the transition from fulltime training to suddenly being injured. Which resulted in myself struggling with body dysmorphia. Having a fit physique unfortunately played a large role within my career. Coming from a background of harsh training and extremely high expectations, I carried an unrealistic mindset with the way I looked. Brett and I worked incredibly hard to overcome this burden controlling my life. There were a few times I actually cried within our sessions as I felt extremely consumed by my mind. Not once did Brett turn a blind eye in these moments but would take the time to listen and understand me. Through these moments Brett taught me the true art of consistency when training yet also allowing yourself to recover and feel what you need to feel. It’s a journey and it’s a process. I’m so thankful to have received this support from Brett, it truly helped me to overcome this difficult time in my life.
Brett is someone I look up to and someone I consider to have such a huge impact on the being I’ve become. I honestly can’t thank you enough Brett, you’ve already done so much for me. The person I am today is a completely different person to who I was a year ago and I seriously owe this to your mentorship Brett! Everything happens for a reason and I met Brett at a time in my life I was needing support.
I have fully recovered from my injury and if it wasn’t for Brett I probably would still have pains and aches. Brett not only helped me to recover from my injury but also took the time to find any other imbalances within my body that I wasn’t aware of. By training with Brett I’ve learnt so much about the human body, along with learning the techniques of activations, how to breath correctly and daily cold showers, which has truly shaped the way I train and my mental health. Because of these techniques I have no issues with injuries, at all! On top of that i can't remember the last time i got sick. We honestly worked so damn hard to achieve my goals. I’ve even noticed my posture has improved over the past year in which I’d spent loads of money seeking out physios, chiros etc. I now no longer need a physio as Brett is so detailed with injury prevention. My results speak for themselves.
Brett is so determined to understand and help achieve all of your goals, I can’t stress enough how important that is when searching for a trainer. I think everyone needs to be trained by BMPT FITNESS!!!!!!
“Winning” - Brett Mallett.
Met Brett in Brazil a few years back and was sold on the mans focus, energy and sheer positivity. Even though I’m based in New Zealand, he’s the guy I go to for all my training programs and eating plans. He’s dialled my macros to a pin point degree. I KNOW when I’m messing up. I KNOW when I’m getting it right and it reflects in my results. He’s developed my training plans to zero in on specific goals and smash them. I’ve occasionally picked up niggly injuries from sports and my job. Brett has built routines not only to recover from them, but to make them completely forgotten. Haven’t had to visit a physio in years. Wouldn’t trust anyone else as a coach. This bloke knows his stuff. He can explain WHY you’re doing something and explain WHY it works. Money well spent!!
I took Brett on as my Coach in an attempt to improve my fitness after having an ACL reconstruction. I can confidently say that this was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I am the strongest and fittest that I‘ve ever been in my life despite the surgery, and I owe a huge amount of gratitude to Brett for making this happen. He helped me surpass my fitness goals, and has helped me to build the most positive mindset in everything I do. His activation work has played a significant role in me regaining strength and confidence in my knee post surgery.
